Lake Duluti is a small, beautiful crater lake that offers views of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day. It is beautifully located between a lush forest surrounding the lake, making it a peaceful place to unwind, only 20 minutes from Arusha. The area is home to over a hundred species of birds, reptiles, and monkeys swinging from the trees.

Activities that can be done from the lake are canoeing, bird watching, guided nature walks, and fishing. Each is a great way to get close to the wildlife surrounding the crater. A guide will accompany you on activities to identify the wildlife and teach you about the area. So whether you calmly canoe around the lake or walk the shoreline, you will spot many birds up close. Common birds seen are giant kingfishers, darters, fish eagles and many more.

On Wednesday and Saturday, you can also stroll through the local market.
